I am about to take unscheduled leave of absence and fly to kerala, and your blog is responsible for that (just joking !) , the pictures are so beautiful that I just want to go back home, Kerala is indeed God's own country , no matter what people say , and you know what I can just smell the Karimeen Pollichathu, great resort, which one is it ?
God Bless.

Nice pictures. I was even thinking how nice it would be to be sitting resting in one of those comfortable seats by the pool.

achayan: nice to hear that there's someone on the other side of the world who share the same nostalgia for God's Own Country...take a break and whizz off to Kerala. Btw, the resort is called Lake Palace and it's close to Alappuzha

dot: thanks dot. nice place to chill out, indeed!

Geets, I was looking at the pictures again and this time I noticed those marvelous railings. Such fancy delicate looking work in the posts of the railing. I sure would love them on my porch.
I`m surprised I didn`t notice them before, but I enlarged the pictures this time. They are beautiful.

The third picture in this group, I think I have seen this place.

Is it not between Alleppey and kootatayam boat route ? I am not sure but I feel that I have seen it.

yea, I read your reply to a comment, but is that purticular picture of the resort ?

Jac,
The third pic the main building of the resort which houses the reception and the restaurants. Behind it, you will find tidy little tiled cottages surrounding a pool. All pics are of the same resort
